ABOUT ROSIE’S CHICKEN
Helping Independent Takeaways Serve Australia’s Tastiest Chicken Since 1998
Rosie’s Chicken helps established takeaway and food businesses introduce a proven branded chicken range without becoming a franchise or rebuilding the way they operate.
Since 1998, we have worked with independent operators across Australia to shape Rosie’s around their premises, equipment, customers and ambitions.

OUR STORY

WHERE ROSIE’S BEGAN — 1998
Rosie’s began in 1998 with a straightforward idea: give independent takeaway operators access to a recognisable chicken brand, quality products and practical operating systems without the expense and restrictions of a traditional franchise.
From the outset, Rosie’s was designed as an addition to an existing business—not a replacement for it.
SHAPED BY REAL TAKEAWAY BUSINESSES
Over the years, Rosie’s has appeared in takeaways, cafés, lunch bars, service stations, roadhouses, convenience stores and other food businesses.
Some needed a more complete setup; others already had most of the equipment required. Those real-world locations helped shape our menu, training & support, and how we approach our systems.
ROSIE’S TODAY
Rosie’s continues to work with independent operators across different locations and formats. Their experience shapes our products, operating systems and support, but the principle remains the same: add a proven chicken offering while the owner retains control of their business.
Our new trial extends that practical approach, allowing suitable operators to test a focused Rosie’s range in their own location before deciding whether a broader setup is right for them.
BUILT AROUND THE BUSINESS YOU ALREADY HAVE
Making the most of your existing setup
Rosie’s is designed to fit around the equipment, staff and layout you already have. Wherever practical, a setup can use existing fryers, hot displays and preparation areas, helping keep the process practical and cost-effective.
No two businesses or locations are identical. Our trial approach reflects that flexibility, allowing suitable operators to begin with a selected Rosie’s range before deciding whether a broader setup makes sense.
Rosie’s adds to your business—it doesn’t replace it.

HOW THE TRIAL WORKS
SUPPORTING YOUR LAUNCH
Practical help to get started
Once a trial is approved, we help the operator prepare for launch with the initial marketing materials supplied in the trial package, training and operating guidance, and support presenting the selected Rosie’s range clearly to customers. This support is tailored to the range, existing setup and needs of the location rather than following a fixed launch format.
If they later choose to establish a stronger Rosie’s presence, we can prepare artwork for digital menus and work with them on custom signage suited to the site. Signage is quoted separately and supplied at cost, with every location approached individually.
We will try to help promote your business on social media as well, using platforms such as our Facebook page with over 15k followers.
LOOKING AHEAD
The way businesses join Rosie’s has evolved. Our purpose has not.
Rosie’s has changed with the businesses we serve, but our purpose has remained consistent since 1998: help independent operators add a recognisable chicken range while retaining control of the business they already own.
Our trial offer is the next step in that approach. It gives suitable operators a lower-commitment starting point and lets them make an informed decision using results from their own customers, premises and local market.
Some businesses may continue with a focused Rosie’s menu. Others may expand the range and develop a stronger in-store presence. There is no single format every operator must follow.
